Donghee had his biometrics appointment today. I guess that means he’s one step closer to getting his green card! He got a letter in the mail a few weeks ago telling him to be there today at 11:00. I read somewhere that they give that same appointment time to lots of people, and that it’s first come, first served. Sure enough, when we got there we filled out some papers, and they handed us a number. There weren’t too many people waiting. We probably waited about 30 minutes before they called his number. You couldn’t use your cell phone, so it seemed like much longer! haha:) Anyway, it didn’t take long after he was called. They just took his fingerprints and a picture and we were out of there. I thought we might learn a little more about what would happen next or how much longer we would have to wait, but no such luck. I called USCIS, but they couldn’t give me a time frame either. Oh well, I guess we’re just back to waiting..
My name is Jennifer. I love to travel. I taught English in Korea for two years, which is where I met my husband, Donghee. We also lived in New Zealand for over a year. Now we are back in the US ready to start adventures here!
