As I mentioned before, we are in the process of applying for Donghee’s Green Card. Well, a few days ago we got a pink letter in the mail. It said we needed to submit evidence of the joint sponsor’s status. (We are using my dad as a joint sponsor.) It said evidence may include a US birth certificate or a copy of the biographical page of his US passport.
Well, we definitely sent his birth certificate when we mailed the application before, so I called the customer service number. The woman who answered was really rude and didn’t seem to know anything. Basically, she just reread stuff from the letter to me and said even if we already sent what they asked for, we needed to send it again.
Ughhh! So, we did what she said. This time we copied his passport and mailed it to them along with the pink letter. Hopefully, this won’t set us back too much.
